About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Structuring Officer to join our team at ADB Recrutement. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for structuring and managing financial products, including UCITS and alternative investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the structuring and monitoring of financial products, including UCITS and alternative investments, in various jurisdictions.
- Establish new fund managers and maintain existing contractual relationships (negotiate delegation, consulting, and exclusivity contracts).
- Set up contracts related to derivatives (ETD and OTC, ISDA, CSA, Pledge).
- Establish contracts for index licenses, marketing rights, etc.
- Participate in the negotiation of distribution and data dissemination contracts: distribution contracts, distribution platforms, data dissemination to Data Vendors, and partnership agreements.
- Participate in and negotiate cross-functional projects (IT, organizational, and transition projects).
- Centralize, coordinate, and monitor subjects, general legal negotiations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Law.
- 5-10 years of experience as a lawyer in a financial institution, ideally with a first experience in a law firm.
- Experience in structuring complex financial products (Hedge funds and Private Equity) is an asset.
- Experience in asset management is essential.
- Knowledge of applicable regulations.
- Confirmed experience required on derivative contracts (ISDA).
