Position Overview:Entrust is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to become an integral part of our DCS R&D team, actively contributing to our DevOps initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess a curious, exploratory, and automation-driven mindset to construct, deploy, test, and automate CI/CD processes in a cloud environment. The solution operates within a highly secure cloud framework and adheres to the latest security protocols. A passion for DevOps and automation technologies is essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, test, and sustain the deployment of Java software microservices utilizing DevOps methodologies and configuration management across various internal and external environments.
- Develop and uphold automation and CI/CD frameworks for diverse platforms as part of the DevOps team.
- Create and update build pipelines, automation scripts, and templates as necessary.
- Establish or maintain standards and repeatable processes for managing changes across environments, leveraging DevOps tools and practices.
- Automate the configuration and deployment of builds, tests, and tools.
- Generate operational documentation based on existing service architectures and standards.
- Support production escalation and troubleshooting efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in DevOps, focusing on build and automation tasks using Jenkins.
- Extensive experience with enterprise-level microservice applications, including deployment and maintenance in distributed environments.
- Proficient hands-on experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Nexus, Gitlab).
- Significant hands-on experience with container management technologies (Docker).
- Experience in developing and executing scripts on Linux platforms using Bash.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum).
- Knowledge of both on-premises and cloud-based systems and tools (vSphere, Amazon AWS).
- Understanding of monitoring and analysis solutions (Datadog, Grafana).
- Knowledge of software security concepts and best practices.
- Strong communication skills in English and fluency in French.
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps with a focus on build and automation tasks using Jenkins.
- Experience as a software developer working on a complex, cross-platform codebase (POSIX - Linux/UNIX) using Java, including automated testing and release management.
- Experience in developing software products, including APIs.
- Familiarity with software security concepts and best practices (cryptography, obfuscation, certificate management).
