Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team as a Quality Assurance (QA) specialist. As a QA engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your primary focus will be on automating API and UI tests using modern technology stacks.
You will work closely with our cross-functional squad, consisting of full-stack engineers, DevOps, and a product owner, to evolve one aspect of our product. Your role will involve implementing rapid prototyping of new services for clients, as well as maintaining existing services. You will be responsible for developing automated tests and supporting the team in reaching our ambitious target for test automation.
As a QA engineer, you will also be part of our QA chapter, where you will exchange lessons learned and develop ideas for cross-squad QA improvements with fellow QA people working in other squads. This will provide you with a solid framework to learn QA methods and concepts.
Requirements- Strong Typescript coding skills, in addition to Javascript knowledge
- Good understanding of modern Java development stacks
- A basic understanding of automated REST API testing using tools like Postman and Swagger
- Experience in working effectively within Agile Scrum teams to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables
- Good written and spoken English
- Bonus points for experience working with automated testing of APIs, performance testing methodologies and tools (k6), and cloud-based microservices architectures
