Key Responsibilities:- Contract Negotiations: The Clinical Contract Specialist will play a critical role in communicating and negotiating contracts with clinical research sites, including:
- Communicating sponsors' positions on various contract issues, identifying relationship-building opportunities, securing site contracts, collecting site feedback, and facilitating communication with various personnel.
- Negotiating complex contracts, including Phase I, PET Studies, Oncology Cooperatives, Oncology Networks, and/or Endocrine portfolio sites.
- Working with partners to review and approve all contract exceptions.
- Developing and implementing contract-related training for new Clinical Contract Specialists and customers.
- Creating, maintaining, and distributing contract templates, process documentation, and contract-specific documentation.
- Identifying and implementing improvements to the contracting process, including standardizing and streamlining contract activities and using metrics to drive improvement.
- Increasing contracting efficiency and effectiveness by ensuring that learning is shared and leveraged.
- Anticipating changes by evaluating issues and opportunities, both internal and external, and making recommendations to management.
- 2-3 years of experience negotiating contracts within CRO/pharma companies.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Thorough understanding of GDPR and other privacy regulations.
- Experience negotiating privacy clauses with clinical research sites.
- Experience working with global business partners and a global team.
