Citi is seeking a highly skilled Market Risk Manager to join our team in Paris. As a key member of our Risk Management function, you will be responsible for managing market risk in our Citigroup Markets Europe (CGME) legal entity.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a regulatory-compliant market risk framework for CGME.
- Monitor and report market risk exposures to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with traders and other market risk managers to ensure proper governance over market risk exposures.
- Assist with the development of a sustainable solution for market risk of EBA stress testing.
- Conduct analysis and prepare market risk components of ICAAP, Risk Appetite Statements, Stress Testing, and other ad-hoc regulatory or legal entity governance projects.
- Support CGME's Market Risk team in evaluating legal vehicle market risk controls and framework for new business or strategic initiatives.
- Review CGME legal vehicle market risk positions in the context of limits, mandates, and permitted product lists.
- Educate internal stakeholders on market risk management best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's/University degree in Economic, Finance, Financial Risk Management, or other quantitative discipline.
- Relevant market risk experience in an international banking organization with a diverse product set.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, French desirable.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel/VBA, Word, Power Point) and SQL.
- Programming and/or database management experience.
- Interaction with auditors and understanding of applicable best practice guidelines and regulations.
