About the Role

ITW is seeking an IT Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, and collaborating with our central IT team to resolve complex issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Manage and maintain local area networks, ensuring connectivity, security, and optimal performance.
  • Administer and maintain Active Directory services, including user accounts, permissions, and group policies.
  • Perform regular system maintenance activities, including updates, patches, and backups.
  • Collaborate with external vendors or service providers for necessary network upgrades or maintenance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) working in IT support in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Experience with Active Directory, user account management, and group policy administration.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented approach to support.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
