Position Overview
TechnicAtome is seeking a skilled Electromechanical Engineer for our engineering division.
In this role, you will integrate into the Mechanical and Electromechanical Equipment team, which comprises 50 professionals, and manage equipment throughout its entire lifecycle.
Within this team, you will focus on Rotating Machinery and Special Equipment (including pumps, fans, fittings, flexible hoses, etc.) alongside approximately fifteen colleagues.
Your Responsibilities:
For the equipment under your technical supervision, you will:
- Draft and/or validate all documentation pertinent to equipment design, manufacturing, and operational processes,
- Oversee fabrication and testing in collaboration with various stakeholders,
- Provide operational support for the equipment.
These responsibilities may evolve in response to TechnicAtome's diverse projects in nuclear propulsion or research reactors.
Candidate Profile:
We are in search of an engineer holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the nuclear sector or a complex industrial environment, with a solid understanding of:
- Materials (such as stainless steel) and Non-Destructive Testing,
- Industrial processes,
- Strength of Materials, Hydraulics, Vibration,
- Electromechanics (including asynchronous and DC motors),
- Interpreting and analyzing technical drawings, functional fits, and tolerances.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with the nuclear sector, including:
- Relevant codes such as RCC-M, RCCM RX, ASME,
- Regulatory frameworks for nuclear applications; ESPN, DESP, AQ84 Quality Decree, INB Decree.
- Specialized knowledge in the design and manufacturing of rotating machinery (pumps, fans, motor-alternator groups).
