Job Summary
The Contract Lead will be responsible for managing the procurement process for the projects team, ensuring that all contracts are negotiated and executed in accordance with project schedule and budget.
The Contract Lead will work closely with the Project Management to ensure that all projects are well-managed and that the project team is kept fully aware of the procurement process.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or other technical and/or financial area.
- Major Energy project developments knowledge and experience, with Partner and Government reporting interfaces.
- Advanced expertise in procurement, including negotiating contracts within the offshore wind industry.
- Team spirit with ability to work closely with various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of offshore wind supply chain industry trends, bottlenecks, and best practices.
- Deep understanding of cost drivers on offshore wind contracts.
- Advanced expertise in identifying and evaluating commercial contract risks.
- Understanding of contract law and excellent attention to contractual details.
- Capacity to manage a high volume of RFIs, RFPs or contract negotiations.
- Previous experience in procurement and market competitive analysis.
