Team Leader Assistant for Road Maintenance

Position Title: Road Network Maintenance Agent
Company: Departement des Hauts-de-Seine

As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing and engaging in regular maintenance activities for road networks.
  • Identifying and rectifying road issues, including those related to asbestos surfaces, while adhering to safety standards.
  • Assisting in the planning and management of repair initiatives, including infrastructure upgrades.
  • Preparing and supervising work units during both day and night shifts.
  • Participating in ongoing network monitoring, emergency responses, and seasonal road upkeep.
  • Ensuring the preservation of public areas and reporting any damages to the team supervisor.
  • Leading operational teams during work tasks and stepping in as team leader when required.
  • Possessing a valid driving license (for both car and truck) is essential for night shifts and winter maintenance activities.
  • Availability for overtime work may be necessary.
  • Utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment is mandatory.
  • Preferred candidates will have professional experience in road maintenance and a background in civil engineering or related disciplines.
  • A solid understanding of road regulations, maintenance practices, and pavement structures is essential.
  • Knowledge of road network functionality and meteorological conditions is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills, along with a proactive mindset, are highly valued.
