About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled National Distribution Manager to join our Food Service team at McCain Foods. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of national Food Service distributors, with the goal of optimizing sales volumes to improve the company's profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate Strategic Agreements: Collaborate with the legal department to ensure the legal validation of commercial strategies and negotiate national agreements within the framework of the commercial policy.
  • Identify Sales Growth Opportunities: Develop the annual plan, propose necessary development measures and actions, and ensure that objectives defined are met through the quality of negotiated trade-offs.
  • Develop the Joined Business Plan: Work closely with the Food Service France Sales Director to develop a comprehensive business plan that aligns with the company's strategy.
  • Establish Key Relationships: Identify key decision-makers and influencers within client organizations to develop long-term relationships and propose non-transactional partnership approaches.
  • Manage Financial Processes: Collaborate with the team's Financial Analyst to manage financial processes, including sales tracking, budget management, and provisions, and provide monthly or quarterly activity reporting to clients.
  • Ensure Client Account Profitability: Ensure proper information sharing with management control and participate in the development of monthly sales forecasts.
Requirements
  • Strong Commercial Skills: Possess advanced negotiation skills, significant experience in commerce, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Business Acumen: Analytical, organized, and recognized for pragmatism, with a strong result-oriented culture.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in IT tools (Excel and PowerPoint) is required.
  • Travel Requirements: Frequent travel will be required (30% of working time).
