Your Role

Within the Colas Rail France Catenary Agency, you will report directly to the bid manager. Your responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks crucial to the success of our bidding process:

  • Thoroughly analyze bid documents or client requests to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct comprehensive project analysis, evaluating technical feasibility, proposing alternative solutions, and identifying potential risks.
  • Develop and implement control plans to ensure accurate measurements and data collection throughout the bidding process.
  • Collaborate effectively with suppliers and subcontractors to gather information, negotiate terms, and secure competitive pricing.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimations and pricing proposals that align with project scope and budget constraints.
  • Craft compelling technical bid responses that clearly articulate our solutions and demonstrate our expertise.
  • Track the progress of bids from submission to allocation, ensuring timely communication and follow-up.
  • Coordinate closely with support services and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and efficient project execution.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging bid presentations that effectively communicate our value proposition to clients.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering with proven experience in Studies or Project Operations within the rail industry.
  • A strong understanding of railway infrastructure systems and processes.
  • Familiarity with catenary systems is highly advantageous.
