Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance LeadIn the role of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance Lead at Dr. Schär France, you will be tasked with ensuring adherence to health and retail standards at both local and international levels, collaborating closely with the Managing Director. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing quality assurance processes and managing crisis situations. You will report to the Head of Medical Affairs France and work in conjunction with the Global Quality Assurance team at our Headquarters, undertaking the following key responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor regulatory developments and remain informed about new regulations, especially those pertaining to French food and health authorities.
- Manage all essential regulatory documentation for the French market and engage with relevant authorities.
- Formulate crisis management strategies in accordance with health and retail regulations.
- Act as the principal quality coordinator during crises, including product recalls and adverse publicity incidents.
- Develop and implement the Quality Policy across all departments.
- Create and maintain a thorough quality assurance documentation system.
- Design and deliver training programs focused on quality assurance.
- Address customer quality complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensure compliance with established procedures and oversee audit processes.
- Manage product quality issues raised by customers.
- Translate product documentation from English to French while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Centrally manage quality assurance certificates.
- Serve as the primary contact for consumer inquiries, providing accurate information regarding ingredients and health claims.
- Ensure that packaging meets regulatory standards.
- Review all communication materials for compliance with regulations.
- Stay updated on new quality assurance certifications and respond promptly to customer demands.
- Act as the main liaison for regulatory authorities.
- Facilitate communication between the local team and corporate quality assurance/regulatory departments.
- Oversee medical operations, including information management and product distribution.
- Review requests for marketing authorization.
- Ensure appropriate conditions for product storage and transportation.
- Manage product reimbursement processes with health authorities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Full-time position.
- Prior experience in French Regulatory Affairs and Quality Management.
- Proficiency in English and familiarity with technical terminology in the nutrition and health sector.
- Knowledge of EU product labeling regulations.
- Strong communication abilities and capacity to work effectively within a team.
