Arboricultural Heritage Manager

About the Role:

The Communauté d'agglomération de Cergy-Pontoise is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Arboricultural Heritage Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in leading the mutualization of tree assets across the territory, collaborating with 12 local authorities to ensure the sustainability of green spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Structuring and managing arboricultural data to inform strategic decisions
• Overseeing joint projects with member municipalities to promote sustainable development
• Conducting strategic studies to identify opportunities for environmental preservation
• Engaging in public communication efforts to raise awareness about the importance of green spaces
• Managing a team of professionals to drive innovation in environmental preservation

Requirements:

• Degree in engineering, architecture, landscape design, or a related field
• Strong commitment to environmental conservation and community engagement
• Proficiency in project management, public procurement regulations, and green space management
• Experience in coordinating diverse stakeholders, utilizing geomatics tools, and communicating effectively with various audiences
