Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess risks associated with vehicle loading/unloading activities, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Develop and update loading/unloading protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct a comprehensive inventory of height access equipment across the site, identifying areas for improvement.
• Design and implement a standard procedure for working at heights, prioritizing employee safety.
• Update the risk assessment document to reflect changes and improvements.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

As an EHS Assistant, you will work closely with department managers and employees to conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols. A hands-on approach is essential for this role, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Additional Responsibilities:

You may also contribute to various EHS activities, including:

• Investigating incidents and conducting safety inspections to identify areas for improvement.
• Organizing safety/environment days to promote a culture of safety and well-being.
• Updating procedures and creating communication materials to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Reporting and Accountability:

You will report to the EHS manager and work closely with a team of 4 colleagues to achieve our safety goals and objectives.
