KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Sustainable Energy Expert at Michelin, you will contribute to the creation or updating of group guidelines and requirements related to the SE domain area.

You will define and implement the zone's strategic plan for its domain, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

A regulatory oversight process will be implemented to monitor the level of compliance of the region's entities with laws/regulations and Michelin requirements.

You will represent Michelin's interests and anticipate potential risks or opportunities through participation in external guidance or professional networks.

Organizational, technical, normative, and regulatory developments that could impact risks will be detected and analyzed, with action plans implemented accordingly.

You will provide expertise to sites and entities in the area, including risk analyses and SE advice when requested.

Inter-site alignment of tools and methods will be ensured, particularly through calibration procedures.

Working methods and tools will be defined and implemented to ensure risk management, compliance, and SE performance.

Good practices and lessons learned from events will be capitalized on and the subject of possible cross-functional actions.

A mapping of SE risks will be regularly updated, with the level of control of these risks at the expected level.

Indicators will be reliable, representative, and communicated in a timely manner.

You will participate in inter-zone networks and coordinate intra-zone networks to ensure the coherence of actions and support the Group's SE performance.

Your contribution to the SE communication plan of the zone will be ensured.

Audits and internal control tests will be carried out in the entities of the zone, allowing for a relevant analysis of performance.

The Management Review of the area (SMEP) will be carried out annually.

You will measure the level of business skills and the availability of field staff, implementing an upgrade plan if necessary.

Technical support will be provided to the field staff to enable them to develop their skills, including training modules, coaching, and mentoring.

The certification process will be implemented when it exists.

Options A: + SE coordination in the country

If necessary, coordination of the monitoring of the compliance of the sites with the laws and regulations of the country will allow for a homogeneous and relevant response to the administrations/authorities of the country.

If necessary, the interests of the country's legal entity will be represented and defended before the country's authorities and stakeholders.

Options B: + SE representation in the entity

Where applicable, you will be the SE focal point of the entity: SE issues will be taken into account in the orientations, objectives, investments, and strategic plans of that entity. The necessary trade-offs will be made.

If necessary, SE issues will be taken into account in the succession plans of the entity's stakeholders.
