Supply Chain Planning Engineer

Verkor SAS is a pioneering company in the field of low-carbon battery manufacturing in France. With the support of prominent industrial companies, we aim to electrify the future of European mobility.

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planning Engineer to join our team at our Gigafactory in Bourbourg. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing planning and control processes for logistics, procurement, and shipment planning.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement logistics, planning, procurement, and shipment planning processes.
  • Establish a control process for these activities, continuously improving and optimizing processes.
  • Implement systems related to planning (WMS/ERP) and cost reduction for supply activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments (IT, Logistics, others).
  • Support WMS, ACS, and MES control, data management procedures.
  • Data management with SAP to ensure supply chain data integration.
  • MES control support.
  • Implement digitization of inbound and outbound flows.
  • Coordinate appropriate tools to implement process automation and digitalization (MRP/S&OP).
  • Integrate all incoming/outgoing data into internal systems (i.e., SAP) to ensure everything is properly tracked in the systems.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years higher education diploma in the field of supply chain (planning) together with significant experience in a similar position.
  • Previous experience in inventory management with an ERP.
  • IT literacy, working knowledge with Microsoft Office, WMS, TMS (Preferred).
  • Strong time management skills and adaptability in a quick-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French.
