About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chef de Rang to join our team at Dream Castle Hotel. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience that exceeds their expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded;
- Work collaboratively with the restaurant team to ensure seamless service delivery;
- Supervise the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation;
- Manage cash handling and maintain accurate records;
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge;
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting a safe and respectful work environment;
- Adhere to health and safety protocols, ensuring a clean and hygienic work environment;
- Perform other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the restaurant.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a 4-star hotel or restaurant;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues;
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality service and presentation;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm;
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation, presentation, and service standards;
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment;
- Fluency in English and French, with a strong understanding of hospitality industry terminology;
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
