Casualty Underwriting Support Specialist
Location: France, Paris
This role is part of the Operations and Technology division, specifically within the master office operations of the Casualty department.
The primary focus is to deliver exceptional and efficient administrative support across various functions as a Middle Office, overseeing contract lifecycle management.
You will assist Underwriting by managing administrative processes related to the entire policy lifecycle, ensuring a high standard of service for both internal and external stakeholders.
YOUR ROLE INCLUDES:
- Confirming project implementation within established timelines.
- Processing premiums in reserve accurately and promptly.
- Documenting files meticulously in the Underwriting file using the document management system.
- Addressing client and broker inquiries swiftly and directing them to Underwriting when necessary.
- Collaborating with Underwriting to explore new business opportunities, prepare quotes, and engage in broker and renewal discussions.
You will report directly to the manager of the Master office Casualty and the Operations Lead Casualty.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in an insurance company or brokerage.
- Proficient in French with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to distill large amounts of information effectively.
- Solid understanding of industry standards.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Previous experience in a commercial insurance setting is advantageous.
- Completion of insurance-related training is highly recommended.
- Desirable experience in the commercial insurance underwriting process.
- Strong organizational capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
