Job Description
We are seeking a Caregiver Assistant to join our team in a local agency. As a Caregiver Assistant, you will be responsible for providing care and support to individuals with disabilities, helping them with daily tasks and activities. Your main role will be to accompany people with disabilities in their daily lives, providing them with the necessary support and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Preparing meals and snacks
- Accompanying individuals on outings and activities
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Assisting with mobility and transfers
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about providing care and support to individuals with disabilities. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently. A background in healthcare or a related field is an asset.
