Job Title: Electron Microscope Service Technician

The Thermo Fisher Scientific team is seeking an experienced Electron Microscope Service Technician to join our team in the Ille-de-France and Nord region. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing complex electron microscopy equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and commission electron microscopy equipment, ensuring accurate operation and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electron microscopes, including preventive maintenance and corrective actions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and achieve service goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest electron microscopy technology and techniques, attending training sessions and workshops as needed.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in electronics, physical measurements, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of electron microscopy principles and techniques.
  • Ability to diagnose and solve complex technical problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability for daily travel in the region, with occasional travel to France and Europe.
