Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with domain experts and business stakeholders to understand metadata requirements and document them using industry-standard tools.
- Anticipate user needs and propose innovative solutions and alternatives to meet business objectives.
- Work closely with development teams to design, build, and test metadata solutions.
- Maintain open communication channels with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality metadata solutions.
- Track and manage outstanding issues from initiation to production deployment.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively with multiple teams.
- Manage enhancement requests and production issues, prioritizing and allocating resources effectively.
- Ensure data quality and standardization using SQL, Snowflake, and other data management tools.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of the financial industry, with previous experience in a Sell Side bank.
- Demonstrable proficiency in Python, SQL Server, and data mining skills.
- Experience with metadata management tools, including Data Catalog, Data Lineage, Data Dictionaries, and Glossaries.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Agile methodology.
