Position Overview
As an SAP Solutions Architect for S/4HANA, you will play a pivotal role in the presales process, focusing on application integration architecture during SAP RISE transformation initiatives involving S/4HANA (PCE) and SAP BTP.
- Develop a comprehensive technical business application roadmap for SAP S/4HANA transformations, detailing application components for target releases and integrations, while facilitating the transition from on-premises solutions to cloud environments, utilizing the SAP Activate Methodology.
- Provide substantial presales assistance to initiate SAP RISE and S/4 + BTP transformations, contributing to the growth of the SAP Practice.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to collect business requirements, design solution architectures, and formulate implementation roadmaps that align with business goals.
- Act as a technical and development lead for S/4HANA across various accounts, ensuring that Kyndryl's value proposition is effectively utilized in presales engagements and delivery execution.
- Define requirements for SAP software subscriptions and landscape sizing for S/4HANA PCE (private cloud edition) in partnership with functional consultants.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement integration strategies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
- Specify requirements for services and SAP landscapes within the SAP RISE - S/4HANA PCE standard service catalog, ensuring alignment with the appropriate Technical Managed Services and compiling necessary technical information for landscape onboarding.
- Foster relationships with SAP application architects and CTOs within client organizations.
- Coordinate and validate technical SAP landscape installations with Basis teams.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in consulting, specifically focusing on SAP S/4HANA implementations and upgrades across functional domains such as Finance, Logistics, or Manufacturing.
- Proven track record in technical application integration, interface definitions, and in-depth knowledge of upgrade and conversion strategies and tools.
- Experience with selective data migrations to S/4HANA concepts and tooling accelerators.
- Proficiency in ABAP code development and management of ABAP development teams.
- Familiarity with SAP infrastructure.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with strong proficiency in English and French.
- Ability to work effectively in virtual or distributed teams globally, with experience in Global Integrated Delivery, including nearshore and offshore teams. Willingness to travel as needed.
- Capability to build and configure demo/PoC systems and integrations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SAP Business Process analysis and mining tools (e.g., Signavio, Celonis).
- Familiarity with at least one hyperscaler such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of SAP RISE – S/4HANA PCE standard delivery services.
- Understanding of the S/4HANA 'clean core' approach and knowledge of SAP automation/DevOps practices.
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, including integration and development alongside S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of SAP BW to SAP Datasphere transformations.
- Experience with SAP PI/PO to SAP BTP Integration Suite transformations or implementations.
- Familiarity with SAP BTP Low code / No code development and SAP Build extensions.
