Job Description
We are seeking a Software Technical Responsible for Experimentation and Demonstrations to join our team at our Ollioules site. As a key member of our Digital department, you will be responsible for leading, conducting, and ensuring the success of experimentation, demonstration, and testing of our drone mission systems.
You will work closely with our DSA (Direction des Drones, Systèmes autonomes et Armes sous-marines) team, which designs, manufactures, and maintains various underwater equipment and systems. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating with our testing teams for sea trials
- Planning and executing software development activities on identified components to prepare and adapt the mission system for testing, experimentation, and demonstrations
- Implementing the necessary software and hardware versions
- Selecting, defining, and implementing data sets for successful project execution
- Participating in the IVV (Integration, Verification, and Validation) process of the mission system under RIVV (Remote IVV) control
- Ensuring the smooth execution of testing, experimentation, and demonstrations
- Preparing and submitting reports for each test and/or experiment, and providing a post-experience review
- Reporting technical and functional feedback
You will be detached to sea trials, demonstrations, and testing at short notice to contribute to the preparation, execution, and success of these events.
The role is not exhaustive and may evolve over time.
Requirements
We are looking for a highly skilled professional with at least 5 years of experience in developing and integrating information systems within an industrial sector (naval/defense, aerospace, etc.). You should have a degree from a prestigious engineering school or a university degree, and possess the following skills:
- Software development methodologies, standards, and tools
- Software development organization
- Software engineering
- Computer science knowledge: Java, Angular, Windows/Linux operating systems, SOA architecture, Web Services
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualities:
