As a Full-Stack Web Development Apprentice, you will play a key role in digital initiatives and contribute to the technical advancement of web platforms, APIs, and servers.
Your primary responsibilities during the apprenticeship include:
In collaboration with our Lead Acquisition & Growth Manager:
- Enhancing and optimizing our WordPress-based website.
- Creating new features, pages, and web projects utilizing WordPress, WP Elementor, PHP, MySQL, and other relevant technologies.
- Testing, integrating, and deploying WordPress solutions.
- Addressing anomalies, diagnosing WordPress-related issues, and implementing fixes.
- Updating and modifying databases (PHP Admin and MySQL) for WordPress systems hosted on OVH.
- Establishing and maintaining our infrastructure (Google Cloud): ensuring cybersecurity, GDPR compliance, scaling, and optimization for WordPress applications.
- Documenting processes to track and facilitate updates on WordPress projects.
- Contributing to projects related to the digital ecosystem.
- Managing IT equipment and providing intranet support.
Key skills expected to be developed during your time at Cherry:

- Ability to create optimized, efficient code (HTML, CSS, JS) and prioritize maintainable code for WordPress.
- Proven track record as a proactive problem solver, capable of identifying effective solutions.
- Design skills using software such as InDesign and Photoshop are advantageous.
- Open to feedback and suggestions, with a commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
- Fluency in English with strong writing skills is essential.
- Demonstrated motivation, autonomy, and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
