Molecular Biology Application Specialist

The Global Customer Service (GCS) division is seeking a Molecular Biology Application Specialist to contribute to our expertise in molecular biology technologies and service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive training initiatives on sequencing technologies in clinical microbiology.
  2. Assess customer training requirements and create customized solutions to address those needs.
  3. Measure the success of training programs and implement necessary enhancements.
  4. Generate diverse educational materials for both digital and face-to-face training, ensuring adaptability for various skill levels and incorporating interactive elements to boost engagement and learning.
  5. Conduct engaging in-person and virtual training sessions, utilizing effective animation techniques to foster active participation.
  6. Establish a network with industry experts and thought leaders to enhance peer-to-peer skills and gather insights from customer service teams.
  7. Collaborate closely with leadership in the Analytics & Sequencing program, R&D departments , marketing, regulatory affairs, and medical teams to continually enhance the serviceability of our solutions.
  8. Represent the customer service team and advocate for their insights in R&D initiatives.
  9. Provide technical and scientific assistance to customers, facilitating quick and effective resolutions to complex issues related to sequencing technologies.
  10. Work in tandem with service teams and key stakeholders to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Advanced degree in Microbiology , Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, or a related discipline.
  2. Technical proficiency in sequencing technologies and their applications in clinical microbiology.
  3. At least 3 years of experience in local and/or global customer service roles.
  4. Proven track record in technical training and customer support.
  5. Familiarity with digital content creation tools.
  6. Proficient in English; additional languages are advantageous.
