Position Title: Maître d'Hôtel

As a Maître d'Hôtel, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Your role will include:

• Welcoming patrons with warmth and guiding them to their tables.
• Presenting the menu and daily specials in an engaging and informative manner.
• Taking customer orders and ensuring they are communicated effectively to the kitchen staff.
• Overseeing the dining service to guarantee a seamless and high-quality experience.
• Training and managing the dining team to uphold standards of efficiency and professionalism.
• Addressing customer complaints and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
• Collaborating closely with kitchen personnel to ensure timely and optimal service of dishes.
• Maintaining rigorous hygiene and safety standards throughout the dining service.
• Regularly checking in with guests to ensure their satisfaction and comfort.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role as a Maître d'Hôtel or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a customer-centric approach.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage stressful situations.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Comprehensive knowledge of wines and various service techniques.
• Fluency in both French and English; additional languages are advantageous.
• A degree in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
