Our expert witness consultancy, witness-experts.com, provides expert testimony and court reports in areas such as medico-legal, dento-legal, and country of origin reports. We collaborate closely with law firms, barristers, courts, and tribunal services to deliver reliable and accurate expert opinions.
The Role
This position is suitable for:
Individuals with experience in professions such as law, academia (PhD level preferred), journalism, or non-governmental organizations like human rights charities.
Essential Requirements:
- Proficiency in written and spoken English to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- A proven track record and experienced credentials to provide expert commentary on countries within their specialist region.
- Punctuality and ability to review documents and deliver high-quality research on time.
- Extensive knowledge of the legal systems and judicial processes in Latin American countries.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and communicate it effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and impartiality.
- Adherence to ethical guidelines and confidentiality requirements essential for expert witness work.
Ideal Profile
- Accreditation or membership to professional organizations demonstrating expertise in the field.
- Published work, including books, articles, or reports addressing regional issues.
- Individuals with experience dealing with prevalent human rights, social, and political issues in their respective countries of expertise are encouraged to apply.
- Adherence to high ethical standards and professional integrity, crucial for maintaining credibility and trust as a legal expert.
