About the Role
Cisco is seeking a seasoned communications leader to drive the integrated communications programme for France. As a key member of the EMEA Communications team, you will lead all communications (internal and external) in France, working closely with the France employee and executive communications manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic communications plans to position Cisco as a thought leader in the French market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key influencers, including print, online, broadcast, and social media; subject matter experts, and others.
- Collaborate with the France leadership team and the France General Manager to drive business objectives through effective communications.
- Design and drive communications programmes that help position the company's relevance and advance its innovation profile.
- Develop executive speaker messaging and platforms that position Cisco as a true thought leader within a competitive market.
- Scale, amplify, and build stories in line with Cisco's key business and technology narratives, and with local relevance.
- Drive regular planning and reporting meetings, track and report success metrics, and use data to continually improve communications programmes.
- Manage the PR agency against results, and ensure the agency becomes a trusted extended part of the team.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across the EMEA and Global Comms Organisation.
About You
- You are a seasoned communications leader with 8-10 years of direct PR and communications experience.
- You have experience as a people leader and have managed teams in the past.
- You have experience with executive and employee communications, and have a deep understanding of the French media and social media landscape.
- You have strong interpersonal skills, intuitive ability to read people, influence where appropriate, and execute when necessary.
- You bring solid project management skills with the ability to meet milestones, tight deadlines, and balance concurrent projects.
- You are a flexible and resilient problem solver with the ability to gain consensus among others and manage sensitive situations.
- You can navigate a complex and international environment.
