Senior Project Manager

TE Connectivity is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our UK Aerospace and Defense CTO team in our newly established Project Management Office.
This is a fantastic opportunity to drive the successful performance of multiple high-profile/value projects within one of our Business Units, following defined methods and processes to achieve commercial and efficiency targets.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all Project Management aspects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Lead Risk Assessment activities and manage Risk Management to mitigate potential threats and ensure project success.
- Collaborate with the Business Office to develop the Project Business Case, ensuring a clear understanding of project requirements and objectives.
- Define necessary requirements for product development, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution.
- Report project status and ensure progress aligns with the plan, escalating issues as needed and managing project change controls.
- Coordinate with global teams in engineering and manufacturing within a regulated environment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage and be accountable for project budgets, ensuring timely procurement of goods and services.
- Maintain global liaisons with customers and suppliers, fostering strong relationships and ensuring effective communication.
- 3+ years' leadership experience in regulated project environments, with a proven track record of delivering customer-facing product development projects.
- Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to foster strong relationships internally and externally.
- Ability to take ownership and drive decisions independently, with a strategic thinker capable of executing priorities effectively.
- Self-motivated and results-driven in demanding environments, with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills at all levels.
- Strong business acumen and commercial understanding, with experience in Agile Project Management and familiarity with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel, with a technical or commercial background in Engineering Manufacturing a plus.
