Position Overview

Essity's Health and Medical division is seeking a skilled Medical Sales Representative specializing in Orthopedics. The primary focus will be on promoting our Orthopedic product line across various healthcare settings, including hospitals, orthopedic clinics, and outpatient facilities.

Work Environment

This role is remote, with a responsibility to cover a designated territory. The ideal candidate should reside within the specified area and possess the willingness to travel frequently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute strategies to optimize sales performance and meet company goals, including analyzing market data to identify key opportunities.
  • Gain insights into customer dynamics, addressing their key issues and concerns to enhance business growth.
  • Drive sales growth of Essity's medical offerings by achieving or surpassing sales targets through effective sales strategies and marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate in creating training and educational resources for various Essity product lines aimed at customer education.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, seminars, and training sessions for key stakeholders.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences within the assigned territory.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to leverage insights for strategic advantage.
  • Understand internal processes related to customer service, contract management, and distribution.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and updates to the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of account activities and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools.
  • Complete all reporting and administrative duties promptly and accurately.
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration with fellow Essity team members.

Candidate Profile

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Two to three years of sales experience, particularly in prospecting and closing new business opportunities.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems or customer databases.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to manage time and territory effectively.
  • Must reside within the designated territory.
  • A valid US driver's license is required, adhering to Essity's vehicle policy.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
