Your Team:
You will join the Group Risk Management department, specifically the Group Information Risk Management team, reporting directly to the department head. In light of increasing cybersecurity threats and global information risks, AXA is committed to establishing a robust second line of defense to effectively manage overall risks and maintain risk appetite. While the responsibility for information protection is shared across all AXA entities, the Group Information Risk Management (GIRM) department is tasked with leading the enterprise's strategy for managing both existing and emerging risks related to AXA's information stewardship.
The Information Risk Framework, Program Management, and Reporting team is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end risk management processes, from identification to mitigation and monitoring. This includes defining and challenging the expected level of controls to be implemented by AXA entities and regularly reporting to Group stakeholders on residual risks to facilitate informed, risk-based decision-making. Additionally, effective vendor risk management is essential for identifying, measuring, monitoring, and mitigating risks associated with outsourcing.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- You will enhance, maintain, and improve the existing Information Risk Framework, ensuring alignment with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and the new global Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) risk management framework. You will drive its implementation at both corporate and entity levels, ensuring qualitative risk assessments are conducted locally in accordance with Group Operational Risk guidance.
- You will supervise the development and maintenance of quantitative models for IT risks, including cyber-attacks, cloud outages, and regulatory non-compliance, in collaboration with the Group Operational Risk team. Your role will involve analyzing these models at both local and global levels and ensuring their proper implementation through Qualitative Assurance Reviews.
- You will coordinate the reporting of ICT incidents, ensuring timely notifications to supervisors and follow-ups as part of DORA regulations. Additionally, you will develop and maintain the quarterly Key Risk Indicators Dashboard for Information Risks, analyzing results to highlight key risks.
- You will establish and uphold the global vendor risk management framework, ensuring its implementation and adherence at both corporate and entity levels, including the third-party risk management strategy as mandated by DORA.
- You will support the implementation of the Group Internal Control framework on Technology, Data Management, and Procurement processes, assisting businesses in integrating internal controls on a risk-based approach.
- You will lead the Information Risk Management Community, facilitating information sharing and decision-making across the organization while ensuring efficient risk issue escalation and management aligned with AXA Group's risk appetite framework.
Your Profile:
Experience:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree; a Master's degree in IT systems is preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience, ideally within the Financial Services sector, with a focus on risk management.
- Proven experience as a business analyst with strong data analysis skills.
- Familiarity with IT systems, processes, and controls.
- Experience in fostering relationships within a global organization.
Technical and Professional Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of information risk, vendor risk, and operational risk management.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks within the Financial Services industry.
