ROLE PURPOSE As the Project Construction Quality Manager, you will be responsible for developing the Project Construction Quality Plan and overseeing all construction quality activities during the construction phase, ensuring compliance with HSSE, GEMS, contractual obligations, and international codes & standards. You will report to the Project Construction Manager during your project assignment. You may also serve as the Deputy Project Construction Quality Manager, reporting to the Project Construction Quality Manager. ROLE CONTRIBUTION To develop the Project Construction Quality Plan, you will: Collaborate with the project management team (Project Manager, Project Construction Manager, Commissioning Manager, Project Quality & Regulatory Manager, etc.). Gather information regarding specific requirements from GEMS, company standards, contracts, subcontracts, international codes & standards, and client specifications. Conduct a gap analysis between standard requirements and project-specific details. Define project performance indicators. Work with the Site Document Controller to expedite documentation and ensure all procedures are approved before commencing activities. Review documentation to ensure construction procedures and Quality Control Plans align with project requirements. Ensure final documentation is reviewed and verified according to project specifications. Implement lessons learned from construction into standard procedures and capture new insights. Contribute to continuous improvement through the deployment of construction engineering initiatives. To manage all project construction quality activities, you will: Foster a positive quality culture and a 'No Defect' philosophy within the project, ensuring adherence to Quality Rules. Provide leadership to ensure that the Project Construction Quality Plan is understood and implemented by all site construction personnel. Collaborate with the Site Quality Engineer and Project Quality Manager on Quality Assurance Surveillance Programs and Quality Assurance matters. Collect, monitor, analyze, and report project performance indicators defined in the Project Construction Quality Plan, identifying potential impacts on overall delivery. Oversee the Construction Quality Verification process in accordance with related working instructions and the Project Construction Quality Execution Plan. Manage the Construction Quality Controls process in line with related working instructions and the Project Construction Quality Execution Plan. Report any Quality Incidents, Costs of Non-Quality, and violations of Quality Rules. Ensure the management of nonconformities. Investigate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to identify root causes and ensure suitable corrective actions are implemented and closed. Plan, allocate, and manage Construction Quality resources across various project areas in coordination with relevant Construction Quality functions. Assess Yard personnel competencies in accordance with related working instructions and the Project Construction Quality Plan.
