Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at AXA Group. As a key member of our Group Controlling department, you will be responsible for monitoring the financial performance of our entities across European markets.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in the production of monthly reporting and assist entities in delivering information as required.
- Contribute to transversal processes such as budget preparation, strategic planning, and STIC assessment.
- Lead processes within the team, coordinate interactions with key stakeholders, and prepare deliverables for the Management Committee.
- Analyze and challenge financial and business information reported by entities.
- Identify and report risks and uncertainties that could impact entity or Group results.
- Participate in discussions and decisions with financial impact for the Group, including forecasting and target setting.
- Develop market and competitive intelligence.
- Contribute to strategic projects as needed.
- Ensure effective coordination and communication with entities and other central functions.
- Understanding of the insurance industry is preferred.
- Good understanding of finance and reporting principles, including accounting and consolidation principles/standards and actuarial practices.
- Solid business and strategic sense.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to represent the Group in front of operating companies.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English.
