Senior Regulatory Science Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Science Leader to join our team in Ingredient Management. As a key member of our Scientific and Regulatory Governmental Affairs Team, you will be responsible for leading internal and external activities related to strategic ingredients under scrutiny for regulatory submissions.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business partners, scientists, regulators, and authorities, to manage strategic ingredients under scrutiny.
- Become a recognized subject matter expert in multiple competency areas and complex issues, delivering position papers, expert opinions, and joint statements for regulatory submissions.
- Represent L'Oréal Research and Innovation externally within trade association consortia and international fora.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary programs related to key ingredients for business continuity.
- Represent the entity in regional and global internal taskforces.
- Provide contributions to ingredient strategic roadmaps and their rollout.
- Strengthen our network of external partners and associations to shape scientific discourse.
- Strong scientific and/or regulatory background in cosmetics, chemicals, or other relevant fields.
- Ability to engage externally and influence stakeholders and partners, ideally confirmed by experience in ingredient management.
- Strong evidence of strategic and critical thinking in managing future opportunities and threats.
- Excellent and clear communication skills, including written communication skills, to influence in a complex and fragmented environment.
- Rigorousness, deep analysis, ability to cooperate, and adapt to a changing environment.
- Proven experience in strong leadership in coordinating difficult dossiers and international teams.
- English speaker, with other foreign languages, ideally French.
- A master's degree with years of experience or a PhD in chemistry, biological science, or equivalent with years of experience.
