Overview

As a Technical Specialist Manager at Microsoft, you will be responsible for leading a team of technical experts in delivering exceptional customer experiences across various cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions. Your primary focus will be on empowering and coaching your team to drive success through empowerment and accountability, while also leveraging your technical expertise to build credibility with customers and drive technical wins.

Responsibilities

• People Management: Lead and manage a team of technical experts, empowering them to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive success through empowerment and accountability.

• Scale Customer Engagements: Proactively identify and engage with key customer technical decision makers and influencers, while coaching and enabling your team to do the same. Use your technical expertise to build credibility with customers and drive technical wins.

• Leverage Partner Ecosystem: Maximize area-level capacity and capabilities by coaching your team to grow the partner network, identifying gaps, and promoting Microsoft within the Microsoft ecosystem.

• Build Strategy: Build competitive knowledge of the team by enabling competitive learning and identifying experts to share knowledge. Enable your team to share compete knowledge with internal teams and communities, influence compete strategies, and highlight Microsoft advantages during architecture and capability discussions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience, or equivalent experience.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and 6+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience, or equivalent experience.

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field, and 4+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience, or equivalent experience.

• 8+ years of technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery, or related experience, or equivalent experience.

• 6+ years of experience with cloud and hybrid, or on-premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.

• 3+ years of people management experience, including leading virtual teams.
