We are seeking an experienced Interface Project Engineer to join our team in Paris. As an Interface Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing interfaces on a large project, chairing technical meetings, and ensuring that engineering disciplines comply with the contract and scope of work. You will also be involved in Management of Change, highlighting and quantifying changes that impact work and effect change when approved. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical work scope, key dates, and milestones, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage interfaces on a large project, including chairing technical meetings and ensuring compliance with the contract and scope of work.
  • Be involved in Management of Change, highlighting and quantifying changes that impact work and effect change when approved.
  • Coordinate engineering multidiscipline inputs and deliverables across multiple execution centres.
  • Ensure that the Engineering disciplines comply strictly with the contract and scope of work in completing project activities.
  • Contribute to project specific procedures; prepare project plans and multi-discipline documents.
  • Understand and work to the project quality system; monitor and act on deficiencies.
  • Check Health, Safety, Environment and Security (HSES) issues are identified and addressed in design, manufacture, construction, commissioning and operations.
  • Responsible for assuring quality of engineering deliverables before issue to customer.
  • Plan individual work activities and manage time; liaise with disciplines to ensure timely receipt of comments.
  • Input to work plan, set targets and hold regular reviews.
  • Expedite Engineers to deliver to schedule, fully understand reasons for delay and drive development of recovery plans.
  • Resolve most delays or changes and escalate only most serious issues.
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or Masters in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience in an appropriate industry (ideally in one or more of Oil & Gas, LNG & GTL, Refining, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Pharmaceutical, Power).
  • Good understanding of technical work scope, key dates and milestones.
  • Positive attitude to learn and develop.
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Takes initiative and seeks out improvements.
  • Good communicator verbally and in written form.
  • Strong planning, organising and execution skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
  • Works effectively as a member of a team.
