The Consumer Data Domain, part of Ubisoft's Data Office, focuses on utilizing data to enhance the consumer experience. We strive to create engaging journeys for our users while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Your Role:We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with practical experience in machine learning to join our team. You will play a crucial role in building scalable machine learning systems that safeguard the trust and safety of our users. Our approach emphasizes a seamless integration of research and engineering, ensuring that prototypes evolve into production-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Take ownership of projects from conception to completion, driving them forward with dedication.
- Design, prototype, develop, and maintain microservices and APIs that deliver data and models to various teams and projects across Ubisoft.
- Construct robust pipelines and batch processes for efficient data movement and transformation.
- Build and manage a scalable infrastructure in the cloud environment.
- Actively participate in decisions and implementations aimed at enhancing the platform's quality, contributing as a key member of the team.
- Engage in proof-of-concept projects to explore new data and machine learning technologies, expanding your knowledge and expertise.
- Write, optimize, and produce high-quality code that can operate at scale, adhering to modern best practices (MLOps).
- Collaborate with data and machine learning engineers to deploy models or prediction pipelines to production within our internal or public cloud infrastructures.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in software/data engineering or a related field, with proven experience in Python or Rust. Familiarity with REST APIs and the principles of microservice architecture is essential. Experience working with cloud technologies, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure is highly desirable.
- Experience in Software/Data engineering, or a related field with a solid experience either Python, Rust.
- Experience building and interacting with REST APIs and familiarity with the principles of microservice architecture and APIs design.
- Previous experience using cloud technology, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure.
- Ability to navigate between the big picture and the micro details.
- A capacity to work collaboratively, with good communication skills to discuss with colleagues.
- Knowledge of Machine learning (& Deep Learning).
- Experience deploying models to production.
- If you have other experiences related to Databricks, DevOps, Big Data Processing, it will be considered an asset to the position.
- Strong communication skills (English mandatory).
