Job Title: Contract Engineer Leader
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Contract Engineer Leader to join our team at Altea Energy. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating contract activities for large offshore oil & gas projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement contracting strategies for projects with the Subsea Manager and Project Contract Lead.
- Manage the SURF and SPS contractual relationship with Tenderers/Contractors during pre-project, FEED, Call For Tender preparation, Call For Tender review, and tenders commercial and contractual clarifications.
- Support the Subsea Manager in preparing and delivering the SURF Call For Tender contractual package for the SURF EPCI, SPS EPCI, and SPS Life of Field Contracts.
- Prepare and implement negotiation strategies with contractors and lead negotiations with the support of the Subsea Manager, Project Contract Lead, and Project Contract Manager when necessary.
- Ensure Contractors' compliance with contractual requirements in all areas.
- Provide internal reporting related to contract activities according to COMPANY rules.
- Liaise with the Project Control Manager, Project Contract Lead, and other package teams as necessary.
- Assist and support the Subsea Manager on all aspects of the SURF and SPS related Call For Tender, Clarification & evaluation process, project execution, and contracts management.
- Coordinate with other SURF and SPS team members for the follow-up of correspondence and contract activities throughout the full CFT process and during Project Execution.
- Provide awareness of Contracts requirements to the Project team and develop counter-claim strategy to protect Project interests.
- Contribute to the Project reporting for Contract and procurement matters.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline, Master of Business Administration.
- At least 15 years of professional experience in contract management.
- At least 10 years of experience within project: large offshore oil & gas projects (execution phase) related to SURF and SPS contracts.
- Team player with ability to work collaboratively across complex project teams and interface between interdisciplinary departments and within an international team.
- Good knowledge of COMPANY Contracts, procedures, and policies.
- Preferably previous experience with Major SURF or SPS Contractors.
