Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Engineering Team Lead to join our team at Deel. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for leading a small cross-functional team to meet organizational goals. Your role will involve providing input at all stages of the development lifecycle, crafting web applications that embody accessibility and best-practices, and collaborating closely with design and product teams to create extraordinary product experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to your team
  • Design and architect software for distributed systems with high-performance, scalability, and availability demands
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to your team
  • Conduct code reviews to drive the team to excellence
  • Explore new avenues for innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development
Requirements
  • Expertise in JavaScript technologies for application design, development, and testing
  • Good knowledge of TypeScript and developing applications on top of RESTful APIs
  • Leading small teams while being hands-on comes with ease
  • Experience with performance review cycles and team growth
  • Passion for developing user experiences that are nothing short of amazing
  • Hunger to learn, experiment, and share knowledge with others, driving innovation every step of the way
