Senior Software Development Engineer

At ENGINEERINGUK, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Development Engineer to join our EU International Technology (INTech) team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in defining and delivering initiatives for Post Purchase Experience, a strategic and complex shift for the retail industry.

The mission of INTech Circular Growth is to become the top destination for customers to get maximum value from items they own, for as long as possible, and with direct environmental/financial benefits. Our vision is to provide best-in-class, cost-effective, and complete repair solutions to Amazon customers (Retail and 3P) for all repairable products, regardless of warranty coverage.

We're looking for a talented engineer who can lead all aspects of the software development cycle, including scoping, design, implementation, testing, delivery, and support of their product. You'll collaborate with other team members and stakeholders, and have a strong sense of ownership and a demonstrable record of success in delivering new features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of software systems that operate at worldwide scale with minimal human intervention.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues.

Requirements:

  • Experience with professional software development and programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Experience with leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
