We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Hays France.
Our client is a family-owned company specializing in container depot management, providing a range of services including container handling, storage, fleet management, repair and maintenance, surveillance services, and interactive information system management.
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to the depot's operation, ensuring seamless logistics management and commercial success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Logistics Management:
- Verify and track bookings and announcements,
- Manage container in and out movements,
- Handle last-minute bookings,
- Coordinate with drivers in case of process failure,
- Communicate customer needs effectively to the team,
- Monitor and handle customer requests,
- Coordinate work orders and completion.
- Commercial Management:
- Create and finalize commercial quotes,
- Provide clients with complete documents,
- Implement company and Group commercial policies,
- Maintain customer relationships throughout the process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics or transportation field,
- Proficiency in transport and IT tools,
- Knowledge of transport products and services,
- Ability to develop technical proposals and apply commercial policies.
This is a long-term interim or fixed-term contract opportunity.
