Job Summary
As a Senior Activity Coordinator, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents by designing and implementing engaging activities that cater to their diverse interests and needs. Reporting to the Residence Director, you will be responsible for creating a vibrant and stimulating atmosphere within our residence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a comprehensive monthly activity program, encompassing a wide range of options such as social gatherings, creative workshops, fitness classes, and cultural events.
- Collaborate with external partners to secure guest speakers, performers, and instructors for enriching activities.
- Ensure the smooth execution of all activities, including logistical arrangements, budget management, and participant registration.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for residents, encouraging their active participation and engagement.
- Assist residents during outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and enjoyment.
Qualifications
- A genuine passion for working with seniors and a commitment to enhancing their well-being.
- A relevant degree in social work, gerontology, or a related field.
- Experience in designing and implementing activities for senior populations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
