Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at SPIE Global Services Energy. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading maintenance operations on offshore installations in Angola.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and oversee maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Assist in the planning and preparation of maintenance jobs, providing technical support as needed.
- Manage interventions using the CMMS system, ensuring accurate reporting and documentation.
- Ensure the transfer of knowledge and skills within the team, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
- Maintain and repair high-voltage and low-voltage equipment, including generators, electric motors, and switchgear.
- Provide support in the repair, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance activities to ensure the integrity of assets.
- Identify and address recurring maintenance issues, suggesting improvements to maintenance procedures and protocols.
- Participate in periodic meetings with GMCs and SMCs to ensure proper surveillance and maintenance of equipment.
Requirements
- Higher National Diploma or Certificate in a relevant field (e.g., electrical engineering, maintenance management).
- Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high-voltage and low-voltage equipment, generators, and switchgear.
- Experience with SAP/R3 and CMMS systems.
- Physical ability to work in offshore environments, withstanding climatic conditions.
- Fluent in English, with knowledge of French and Portuguese languages.
