Our Team

The Technology and Cyber Risk Team is the second line of defense for Technology and Cyber within the Risk Department of LCH. Our main objectives are to:

  1. Define and maintain a comprehensive policy framework.
  2. Implement a permanent control framework embedded in the internal governance.
  3. Support business transformation projects with in-depth analysis to ensure that IT and Cyber risks are adequately identified and mitigated.
  4. Monitor and assess IT services provided by our main outsourcers.
  5. Ensure IT and Cyber Disaster Recovery Plans and strategies are adequately defined and regularly tested.
  6. Provide an independent opinion to executive management and board members on IT and Cyber Risk.

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team in charge of overseeing IT and Cyber Risk. You will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of topics, allowing you to develop your skills and have an impact on the cyber risk profile of the company.

Your Roles and Responsibilities

As a Technology and Cyber Risk Manager, you will focus on the following key themes:

  1. Steer the annual review of ICT Policies to ensure they are aligned with emerging risks, regulations, and market best practice.
  2. Monitor and assess IT services provided by our main outsourcers.
  3. Perform in-depth analysis of main transformation projects to ensure risks are adequately identified and provide expert opinion for better risk mitigation.
  4. Monitor and enhance the permanent control framework, performing second-line checks and challenges on controls performed by the First Line.
  5. Perform deep dives on technology topics whenever a key risk or emerging risk is identified or upon request of senior management.
  6. Provide independent opinion on IT and Cyber Disaster Recovery Plans and tests.
  7. Provide expertise on relevant regulations (DORA, NIS, ECB,...) and ensure LCH SA is compliant with their requirements.

Participate in internal, external, and regulatory audits on technology and cyber risk, providing independent expert opinion on the closure of recommendations issued by regulators.

Regular interaction with the COO, CTO, CISO, and their teams to coordinate IT and Cyber risk analysis.

  1. Define and monitor relevant Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and provide risk opinion to relevant Risk reports.
  2. Participate in LSEG and LCH workstreams related to Technology perimeters, sharing regular updates to the Risk team and raising any blocking points or key concerns.
Skills and Experiences

We are looking for a candidate with:

  1. Between 5 to 10 years of experience in a Technology/Cyber Risk Management environment, preferably in the financial sector.
  2. Thorough background knowledge and work experience of IT risk and control frameworks.
  3. Good knowledge in IT (infrastructure, Application, Cloud) and Information Security.
  4. Good knowledge of technology standards (NIST and ISO).
  5. Certification: CISA, CRISK, CGEIT, CISM, CISSP, OSCP, or similar.
  6. Good knowledge of technology regulations applicable to financial institutions (DORA, NIS, ECB,...).
  7. Ability to analyze data and challenge the design and effectiveness of controls.
  8. Ability to drive and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, very good attention to detail, synthetic, and rigorous.
  10. Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  11. Be a great teammate.
  12. Self-starter with a positive work attitude.
