About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Elevator Technician to join our team at Otis College of Art and Design. As an Elevator Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of elevators and escalators in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of elevators and escalators to identify and repair any issues or defects.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating moving parts and checking safety features.
  • Install new elevators and escalators, ensuring that they are properly aligned and levelled.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to troubleshoot complex issues and develop solutions.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our faculty, staff, and students, ensuring that they are satisfied with the quality of our elevators and escalators.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as an elevator technician or mechanic.
  • Strong knowledge of elevator and escalator systems, including safety features and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
