As a Data Analytics Specialist in our Global Transaction Analytics team, you will work with our highly motivated and effective team of professionals on a variety of interesting projects across different industries. You will gain exposure to our integrated due diligence approach that combines deep operational, functional and industry expertise to drive value throughout the investment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with core transaction analytics, helping to identify key financial performance and operating trends as well as insights through applied data analytics.
- Assess the quality of the target company's financial and operational datasets.
- Analyze underlying financial statement performance drivers via key transactional and operational data. Clean, transform, and model data into meaningful information used to drive discussions with target management through observations to insights and conclusions.
- Collaborate with senior team members to develop data-driven insights and recommendations for clients.
- Utilize advanced data analytics tools and techniques to analyze large datasets and identify key trends and patterns.
- After an investigative analysis, assist in the construction of deal-oriented reports and presentations using data visualization tools to communicate findings to clients and stakeholders.
- Assist in the development and implementation of data analytics strategies to enhance the effectiveness of transaction advisory services.
- Participate in meetings and conference calls with target company management and with client personnel.
- Graduated from a leading "Grande Ecoles" in Business and / or Engineering, or equivalent
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and financial modeling.
- Proficiency in ETL and data analytics tools such as Alteryx, SQL, Python, R, or similar
- Experience in a data visualization tool such Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, or similar is a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Prior experience in transaction advisory services or a related field is a plus.
- Prior experience in Alteryx and Tableau is a plus.
