Job Overview

As a key advocate for our clients, the AI/GenAI Architect collaborates intimately with product and engineering teams to grasp business needs and offer insights on crafting tailored solutions that tackle intricate challenges using state-of-the-art technologies, particularly focusing on foundational models and large language models.

Your role involves guiding customer interactions and facilitating effective feedback collection, translating this feedback into clear business and technical specifications for product and engineering teams to evaluate.

You will concentrate on assisting clients throughout the engagement lifecycle and work closely with the teams responsible for implementation. Acting as the customer’s voice, you will partner with internal Platform Engineering teams to influence the future direction of our offerings.

A profound technical background in technologies related to multimodal applications and image generation is essential, along with experience in model fine-tuning and prompt engineering. A solid foundation in machine learning is preferred, alongside experience in collaborating with clients to design and implement use cases.

You will be well-versed in the AI/GenAI landscape for architecting and executing complex solutions utilizing open-source technologies or partner stacks (such as Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, La Plateforme, Open AI, etc.) to innovate and implement cutting-edge solutions for unprecedented challenges. You will also conduct benchmarks for existing models, identify opportunities for accelerators in new models, and evaluate cost versus performance.

Strong communication skills are crucial, as your contributions will shape the roadmaps of our clients, including both AI-native and emerging AI companies. You will have the chance to influence and execute strategies aimed at fostering GenAI adoption and designing entirely new cloud-based systems.

Your efforts will drive successful business outcomes across a diverse array of clients through your enthusiasm for educating, training, designing, and developing innovative solutions. You are committed to market development and remain informed about the latest trends in academia, actively participating in internal knowledge transfer initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

You will hold comprehensive technical accountability throughout the acquisition, design, and delivery of technically sophisticated GenAI projects on a global scale, collaborating with international development teams.

  • Engage directly with clients to comprehend their business challenges.
  • Educate clients on the AI/Generative AI value proposition, showcasing possibilities while addressing their inquiries and concerns.
  • Guide technical and business leaders through their AI/Generative AI technology selection process, understanding the complexities involved in training and deploying models to achieve anticipated business value in alignment with client requirements.
  • Develop proof of concepts (POCs) to demonstrate feasibility and validate the effectiveness of proposed AI/Generative AI solutions for clients.
  • Provide customer-driven feedback for product enhancements and support during the solution deployment phase.
  • Author whitepapers and blogs that translate business insights into reference architectures.
  • Collaborate with other Strategy & Management Consulting Business Units at Sia Partners to expedite customer adoption and offer guidance on their engagements.
  • Promote cloud communities through public speaking engagements at events such as AWS Summit.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Qualifications

We seek a professional with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the design, construction, and implementation of advanced AI solutions. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and a strong technical background, capable of impressing clients at all levels, from executives to developers. Previous experience with cloud services is advantageous but not mandatory, provided you have a history of developing innovative AI solutions across various use cases.

  • Master’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong business insight and proven ability to translate complex processes and business challenges across different industries into technical solutions without unnecessary complexity.
  • Experience in the ML/AI/GenAI technical domain (e.g., multimodal ML, model evaluation, MLOps, ML training, inference, bias, data engineering, data science, fine-tuning to prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation architectures).
  • Proven track record in managing complex AI project lifecycles, from research to design and prototyping to deployment in production settings.
  • Strong programming capabilities, proficiency in Python, and experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face.
  • Familiarity with both proprietary and open-source ecosystems (Open AI, AWS, Hugging Face, etc.).
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey intricate technical concepts to both highly technical and non-technical stakeholders.
