Job Title: Senior Project Controls Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Controls Engineer to join our French team in the Life Science division. As a key member of our Project Controls team, you will be responsible for providing coordination across various project controls functions, including Planning, Risk, Change, and Cost.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a project controls environment within the pharmaceutical, oil and gas, nuclear, or chemical sectors. You will also have experience in at least one of the following areas: Programme Controls Management, Earned Value (EVM), Change & Risk Management, Planning, Project Controls, and/or PMO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply best practices and principles of cost management, including estimating, VFM, controlling costs, baseline management, forecasting, performance measurement, and change control.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure effective project controls and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project controls tools and processes to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Provide regular project status updates and reports to the project team and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Degree educated with previous industry and sector experience.
  • Previous experience with Oracle Primavera, MS Project, Excel, and/or PRISM (Cost Management System).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
  • Rigorous in following documented processes and governance.
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to innovate in creative ways to meet the challenges of the changing project environment.
