We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Material Engineer to lead our customer's electrical equipment projects in Paris, France. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing electrical material requisitions, coordinating with other operating centers and partners, and ensuring compliance with project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue project deliverables related to electrical material, including technical specifications, datasheets, material requisitions, scope of supply, inspection and test plans, and schedules.
- Issue requisitions for inquiry and purchase in coordination with other operating centers and partners.
- Review and issue technical bid tabulations.
- Perform technical follow-up of requisitions, including quality, schedule, and technical compliance.
- Check and approve deliverables relevant to the scope of requisition.
- Coordinate execution of purchase orders with the procurement team.
- Comment on vendor documents and answer company comments.
- Review quality control plans and test procedures.
- Provide regular reporting to the lead discipline engineer and its deputy.
- Identify necessary interfaces and coordinate with the lead discipline engineer or its deputy.
- Obtain relevant data from other operating centers, disciplines, and partners.
- Prepare and assist with factory acceptance tests.
- Provide design engineers with equipment data required for installation studies and related activities.
- Interface with other equipment lead engineers.
- Identify and alert on changes introduced by the company or other parties.
Requirements:
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical material and equipment.
- Excellent project management and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
