Job Overview:

As an Embedded Electronics Development Engineer at Otis, you will work at the company's Lead Design Center in France, a global leader in Elevators. You will design and integrate new solutions for the range of new elevators.

With a worldwide scope, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from different Engineering locations such as Madrid, Berlin, and Farmington (US). You will report to the Human Interface Devices team manager who will provide training, growth, and development opportunities within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design electronic boards from concept to industrialization, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.
  • Develop embedded software for the electronic boards, utilizing languages such as C and C.
  • Conduct testing and validation to ensure the quality of the designed solutions.
  • Support product lifecycle maintenance, including testing and validation.
  • Participate in test definition and functional testing to ensure the quality of the designed solutions.
  • Assist in CE standards qualifications to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

You should hold an Engineering degree or equivalent and have experience in electronic and embedded software design in an industrial environment. Proficiency in C and C embedded language, as well as tools like IAR, PADS, and Microsoft Office, is required.

Additional knowledge in CEM, electromechanics, and Python language is a plus. Organized, rigorous, and customer-oriented, you must be able to communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
